Cherokee County to Host America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration May 5
CENTRE — The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to take part in a special program celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, at 9 a.m. at the Richard Lindsey Arena on the campus of Gadsden State Cherokee.
Organizers say the program will honor the nation’s history while also looking ahead to its future. The celebration is open to the public and admission is free.
Community members are encouraged to attend and bring family and friends as Cherokee County joins in commemorating 250 years of American history. 🇺🇸
