\In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Christina Evans, age 37 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and revoked bond.

Eric Crane, age 49 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on six previous charges.

Amanda Kelley, age 46 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Jordan Covington, age 29 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

James Harris, age 57 of Grove Oak, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Darren Terry, age 30 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and 4th degree theft of property.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 85 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
