According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, correctional officers discovered the inmate unresponsive in her cell during the early morning hours of April 7. Officers immediately began CPR while emergency medical personnel were called to the jail.
Medics responded and transported the inmate to a local hospital. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, she was pronounced deceased.
