Pine Grove Cemetery to Host Clean-Up Day and Decoration in May

CENTRE — Pine Grove Cemetery in Centre will host a community clean-up day and annual decoration event in May.

The clean-up day is scheduled for May 2 and will give volunteers an opportunity to help prepare the cemetery grounds ahead of the annual decoration.

The decoration will take place the following week on May 9, when families and community members traditionally gather to honor and remember loved ones buried at the cemetery.

Pine Grove Cemetery is located off County Road 22, approximately three miles east of Centre.

Organizers encourage community members and those with family members buried at the cemetery to participate in both events to help maintain the grounds and continue the longstanding tradition of cemetery decoration.
