Interest Meeting Scheduled for Friends of the Cherokee County Public Library

CENTRE, Ala. — Community members interested in supporting the local library are invited to attend an upcoming interest meeting for the Friends of the Cherokee County Public Library.

The meeting is scheduled for April 28, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Cherokee County Public Library, located at 310 Mary Street in Centre, Alabama.

Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the local library. The organization assists the library in a variety of ways, including fundraising efforts, donations, and volunteer opportunities that help enhance programs and services for the community.

Organizers say anyone interested in joining the effort to support the Cherokee County Public Library is warmly invited to attend the meeting and learn more about how they can get involved.
