Spring Art Market Returns for 14th Year with New Dates and Expanded Offerings

Rome, GA — The Georgia’s Rome Welcome Center and Gift Shop is proud to announce the return of its annual Spring Art Market, taking place April 10–11 at the Rome Civic Center. Now in its fourteenth year, the event will feature a vibrant selection of local artists, makers, and growers.
This year introduces a new schedule, with the market open Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday evening will highlight live music along with an expanded lineup of food and drink vendors, creating a lively kickoff to the weekend.
“This year we are changing things up a bit, and we’re excited about how it’s shaping up. This should be our best market yet,” said Charlene Mathis, Welcome Center and Gift Shop Manager. “We encourage people to start shopping early and join us after work on Friday to enjoy the variety of food and drink vendors.”
The market will showcase artists across a wide range of disciplines, including painters, potters, and local food producers. Artists of all backgrounds are represented, offering attendees a diverse and engaging shopping experience. Admission and parking are free. The market will be held both inside and outside the Rome Civic Center.
The event is part of the tourism office’s ongoing initiative to support and grow the local arts community by increasing visibility for regional artists. The Rome Civic Center is located at 402 Civic Center Drive on Jackson Hill, across from Applebee’s. For more information, call 706-295-5576.
