Six-run fourth inning helps lift Cedar Bluff baseball at Donoho

ANNISTON – A six-run top of the fourth inning helped the Cedar Bluff Tigers earn a 12-7 area baseball win at Donoho on Tuesday.

Hunter Mobbs led the Tigers (7-14) by going 3-for-5 at the plate, including a double with two RBIs. Bryant Gravley was 3-for-3 with a walk, a run, and a RBI. Dallas Story went 2-for-4 with a double, a run, and three RBIs. Kadien Tracy was 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs, and a RBI.  Kuper Bradley went 2-for-5 with a run and a RBI.

Sam Payne collected a hit, two walks, two runs, and a RBI. B. Teague added a hit, a run, and a RBI. E. Chadwick walked and scored twice. Fischer Young walked, scored a run, and had two RBIs. L. Mallett scored a run.

Bradley tossed 6 2/3 innings from the mound. He gave up five earned runs on 10 hits with five walks and five strikeouts. Gravley worked 1/3 of an inning and didn’t allow a hit.

The two teams finish their series at Cedar Bluff on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
