Gadsden State to Host MOU Signing with Talladega College

Gadsden, Ala. – Gadsden State Community College will host a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Talladega College at the Advanced Manufacturing Center on April 7, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
The articulation agreement and student panel event will take place on the East Broad Campus in the AMC Building Flex Lab. The meeting is open to the public.
The event will include a panel of Valley Street Campus students discussing the importance of the transfer opportunity to a four-year HBCU College. Comments will be given by Alan Smith, president of Gadsden State and Dr. Willie L. Todd Jr., Talladega College president. They will also be available for interviews at the event.
Gadsden State offers 70+ programs that allow students to earn an associate, certificate, or short-term certificate. The College also helps students transition seamlessly to a four-year college or university. Typically, a student needs 60 credit hours to transfer as a junior to a four-year college.
