First Baptist Centre to Host 13-Week GriefShare Support Program

CENTRE- First Baptist Church of Centre will soon begin a new 13-week session of GriefShare, a support group designed to help individuals who are coping with the loss of a loved one.
The new session will begin Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m. at the church’s ROC facility. Organizers say the program provides a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can find encouragement, practical guidance, and understanding as they navigate the grieving process.
GriefShare is open to anyone in the community who has experienced the loss of a loved one, regardless of when the loss occurred. Participants may attend at any time during the 13-week program and are not required to start on the first week.
Each meeting offers a safe setting where individuals can share their experiences or simply listen to others who are walking a similar path. Leaders say the goal of the program is to help people find comfort, healing, and hope while learning healthy ways to cope with grief.
Organizers note that the GriefShare meetings have recently moved from Tuesday evenings to Thursday mornings.
Community members who may benefit from the program, or who know someone who is grieving, are encouraged to attend or share the information with others.
