Extension horticulture agents will present best growing practices for tomatoes in the region during an upcoming educational event that is designed for both home gardeners and market growers.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7th, 10am at Leesburg FEMA Building.

Topics to be covered during the program include fertilization, diseases, insect pests and pollinators, pruning, cultivars, irrigation and fertigation.
