SECTION – The Spring Garden Panthers scored single runs in the first, second, sixth, and seventh innings and held on for a 4-3 baseball win at Section on Monday.

Joel Hunter, Clayton Sadler, and Eli Bates each had a pair of hits for the Panthers (7-10). Hunter doubled and scored a pair of runs. Sadler doubled and drove in two runs. Ben Baker also doubled.

Brody Bostick managed a hit, a walk, and a RBI. Zane Edwards and Hayes Guthrie both had a hit and scored a run. Guthrie also had a RBI.

Bostick also pitched 5 2/3 innings. He didn’t allow an earned run on four hits with a walk and six strikeouts. Brady Ruark and Baker both tossed 2/3 of an inning. Ruark allowed an unearned run on a hit with three walks and two strikeouts. Baker didn’t allow a hit and finished with a strikeout.

Spring Garden hosts Faith Christian to begin an area series on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
