Centre Lions Club to Host 69th Annual Pancake Day Fundraiser April 11

Centre- The Centre Lions Club will host its annual Pancake Day fundraiser on Saturday, April 11, from 6 a.m. until 12 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Centre.

Now in its 69th year, Pancake Day is the club’s largest fundraiser and a long-standing community tradition. Members of the Centre Lions Club will be serving pancakes throughout the morning as they continue a tradition that has supported local charitable efforts for nearly seven decades.

Proceeds from the event help fund several community programs sponsored by the Lions Club, including free eye exams and eyeglasses for those in need, diabetes education and camps for children, senior services, and the construction of handicap-accessible ramps for individuals with disabilities.

Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance from any Centre Lions Club member, or attendees may pay at the door on the day of the event.
