Attalla School Resource Officer Completes National Training Program

ATTALLA — The Attalla Police Department has announced that School Resource Officer Eric Roebuck has successfully completed the 40-hour Basic School Resource Officer Course through the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO).
The nationally recognized training program is designed to strengthen the skills officers need to effectively serve in schools by focusing on campus safety, mentoring, and leadership within the educational environment.

Officer Roebuck serves as a School Resource Officer with Attalla City Schools, where he works closely with students, faculty, and staff to help maintain a safe and supportive school atmosphere.
According to the Attalla Police Department, the specialized training helps equip school resource officers with the knowledge and tools needed to better protect students while also building positive relationships within the school community.
Department officials praised Roebuck’s dedication to continuing education and his commitment to serving the students and staff of Attalla City Schools.
