In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Wallace Dixon, age 73 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a grand jury indictment for the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Dakota Woodfin, age 23 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 75 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
