Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes Portion of Alabama 75 in Blount County

BLOUNT COUNTY — A multi-vehicle crash Monday morning has resulted in a road closure along Alabama Highway 75 in Blount County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred at approximately 9:59 a.m. near Tidemore Lane. Authorities say the collision involved multiple vehicles and has caused a blockage of the roadway.

As a result of the crash, all lanes of Alabama 75 in the area are currently closed to traffic and are expected to remain shut down for an undetermined amount of time while officials work at the scene.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and use caution when traveling in the area.
