Leesburg Dedicates Frankie Brewster Memorial Pavilion at Leesburg Landing

LEESBURG— Community members gathered at Leesburg Landing for the dedication of the Frankie Brewster Memorial Pavilion, honoring the late town leader whose dedication and service helped make the project possible.
The ceremony, held on a beautiful day along the lakeside landing, celebrated Brewster’s lasting impact on the Town of Leesburg. Brewster served on the Leesburg Town Council for 17 years, earning a reputation for his commitment to the community and his love for the town he called home.
According to information shared by the Town of Leesburg, the pavilion was the result of Brewster’s tireless efforts and vision to enhance the area at Leesburg Landing. Town officials said the structure will serve as a valuable addition for both local fishermen and residents, providing a place for visitors to gather and enjoy the scenic location.
The memorial pavilion stands as a tribute to Brewster’s years of service and dedication to improving the community.
The project was made possible through the support and sponsorship of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Leesburg, Johnson’s Giant Foods, and WLIA.
Town leaders expressed appreciation to everyone who attended the dedication ceremony and helped celebrate the occasion, noting that the pavilion will serve the community for years to come while honoring Brewster’s legacy in Leesburg.
