Resurrection Sunrise Service Planned at Cherokee Rock Village
CHEROKEE COUNTY — Community members are invited to gather for a Resurrection Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 5, at Cherokee Rock Village, offering a scenic and reflective start to Easter morning.
The service will begin at 6:15 a.m., coinciding with sunrise, and will be held “On the Rocks” at the popular outdoor destination. Organizers say the event will focus on celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ through a time of worship, prayer and reflection, set against the natural backdrop of the area.
The sunrise service is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
Cherokee Rock Village, known for its panoramic views and unique rock formations, provides a fitting setting for the early morning gathering, which is expected to draw participants from across the region.
