CEDAR BLUFF – The Cedar Bluff Tigers scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 3-1 area baseball win over Gaston on Tuesday evening.
Kyler Bradley earned the complete-game win for the Tigers (5-9). He allowed just one earned run on three hits with two walks and nine strikeouts.
Bradley was also 1-for-3 at the plate with a walk, a run, and a RBI. Hunter Mobbs, Bryson Teague, Bubba Chadwick, and Sam Payne each had a hit for the Tigers. Chadwick drove in a run and Payne scored a run.
Fischer Young walked twice and scored a run. Dylan McDaniel walked and had a RBI. Dallas Storey drew a walk.
The two teams complete their series at Gaston on Thursday beginning at 5 p.m.
