Mr. Gary E. Mobbs, 81, of Cedar Bluff, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Gadsden Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Perry Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Reid and Rev. Jessie Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
Mr. Mobbs owned and operated Mobbs Furniture & Antiques for many years and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Mobbs is survived by his nieces, Penny (Tommy) Mitchell and Sandy (Jim) Brown; as well as Larry & Kathy Wilson and other nieces and nephews; special friends, the John Smith family; and many other friends, family members, and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Vivian Wilson Mobbs, and his parents, Theodore “Bud” Mobbs and Relma Scottie Cothran Mobbs.
Pallbearers will be Robert L. Mobbs, Josh Mitchell, Austin Dutton, Mike Brown, Tony Santana, and Judson Mobbs.
Perry Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
