Traffic Improvements Planned Along Busy Rainbow City Corridor

RAINBOW CITY — The City of Rainbow City is advising residents and motorists that traffic improvement work will be taking place over the next several weeks along the corridor between Publix and Sonic.

According to city officials, crews will be working on traffic signals at several intersections in the area as part of the project. During the work, traffic signals will be temporarily turned off at times while crews complete upgrades. Rainbow City Police officers will be on site directing traffic when signals are offline to help maintain safe traffic flow.

In addition to the signal work, Church Street will undergo resurfacing during the same period. Motorists are encouraged to avoid Church Street when possible while the work is underway in order to reduce congestion and allow crews to complete the project safely and efficiently.

City officials say the improvements are intended to enhance traffic flow and safety along one of Rainbow City’s busiest corridors.

Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through work zones and remain alert for workers and equipment in the area.

Officials thanked residents for their patience and cooperation during the construction period, noting the completed improvements are expected to benefit motorists and the community.
