CEDAR BLUFF – Kyriah Vadon went 3-for-4 at the plate, including an inside-the-park home run nnd a double, to help the Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers earn a 16-6 softball win over Gaston on Tuesday.

Kylie Vadon and CeCe Davis both collected four hits for the Lady Tigers (3-5). Tylee Bradford went 3-for-4 with four runs batted in. Rylie Walker, Ciana Smith, and Paityn Walker each collected multiple hits for Cedar Bluff.

Mackenzie Kimmons earned the win after working five innings. She allowed five earned runs on 10 hits with two walks and five strikeouts.

Cedar Bluff opens the Cherokee County Tournament against Spring Garden on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Cherokee County High School.
