Mrs. Gina Atkins, age 64, of Centre, passed away March 8, 2026, at Floyd Cherokee Medical Center.
Ms. Atkins is survived by her son, Ronald Wayne Atkins; daughter, Misty Culpepper; sisters, Wanda Willingham and Charlotte (Milton) McArthur; grandchildren, Jenia (Ryan) Quaintance and William Wayne Culpepper; special friend, Jimmy Eline; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William H and Virginia L Chestnut Talley; her first husband, Ronald Harvard Atkins, formerly of Rome, GA; and her brother, William Talley.
She worked as a dietician at BMC-Centre for over 20 years, and she was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Atkins was a very giving, caring person who always put others above herself. She will be remembered for the kind person that she was.
There will be a celebration of life planned at a later date.
