Dense Fog Advisory in Effect Until 10 A.M. Across Central Alabama

Centre, Ala. — A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. CDT Monday across Central Alabama, including the WEIS Radio listening area.
The National Weather Service reports that visibility could drop to one-quarter mile or less at times due to dense fog developing across the region during the early morning hours.
Officials say the reduced visibility could create hazardous driving conditions for motorists traveling throughout the area.
Drivers are urged to use caution while on the road. Safety officials recommend slowing down, using headlights, and leaving plenty of distance between vehicles to allow extra time to react in low-visibility conditions.
The advisory is expected to remain in place until 10 a.m., when conditions are forecast to gradually improve as the fog begins to lift.
