In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Rodney Newton, age 52 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of public intoxication.

Rickey Flint, age 49 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Timothy Martin, age 62 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 81 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
