LINCOLN – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats split a pair of softball games Saturday in a tournament at Lincoln. They defeated Oak Grove 9-5 and lost to the host Lady Golden Bears 14-0.

In the win over Oak Grove, Alyvia McMichen and Raven Todd both went 2-for-3 at the plate with a run. McMichen also had a RBI.

Emma Sipsy doubled, scored a run, and had a RBI. Macy Martin had a hit, two runs, and two RBIs.

Molly Grace Lay and Taylyn Warren both had a hit, scored a run, and had a RBI.

Aubie Camp contributed a hit and scored a run. Ashlyn McMichen had a hit, scored a run, and had a RBI.

Sipsy earned the win after working 3 2/3 innings. She gave up one earned run, four hits, two walks, and a strikeout.

In the loss to Lincoln, Lay had the lone hit for the Lady Wildcats. She also drew a walk.

Martin suffered the loss.

Sand Rock travels to West End on Monday at 5 p.m.
