WHITE PLAINS – White Plains rallied for six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to take a 7-4 softball win over Cherokee County on Thursday.
Kaylee Lewis led the Lady Warriors (0-2) with a pair of hits, a run, and a RBI. Sofie Dawson delivered a hit, a walk, a run, and a RBI. Emma Hill had a hit. Izzy Patterson walked and scored a run. Sydni Frost also scored a run.
The Lady Warriors play in a tournament at Hewitt-Trussville on Friday and Saturday.
