Gaylesville baseball routs Anniston

ANNISTON – Jack Sentell tripled, walked three times, and drove in three runs to lead the Gaylesville Trojans to a 19-3 baseball rout at Anniston on Thursday.

Sean Poss and Bradley Smith both picked up a pair of hits for the Trojans (2-3). Hayden Dodd walked three times. Sentell, Poss, Smith, Dodd, Gabe Davidson, Jared Butts, and Cole Hendon each stole multiple bases.

Hendon started on the mound for the Trojans. He allowed two runs on no hits with two walks and a strikeout. Smith tossed three innings in relief, allowing a run on no hits with three walks and four strikeouts.

Gaylesville is at Skyline on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
