In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Renee Wilson, age 41 of Summerville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jonathan Buford, age 57 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Terry Henderson, age 38 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of community corrections violation.

Tracy Mallard, age 56 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Leif Hight, age 50 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of child abuse.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 77 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
