Crappie Rodeo Paying Off For Anglers
Dale Roman of Centre caught a tagged crappie Sunday on Weiss Lake. He turned it in at Bay Springs Marina and claimed his prize of $50.
If you are going to be crappie fishing on Weiss Lake before April 30th, be sure to get a Bounty Badge sold at participating merchants. The Weiss Lake Association’s Crappie Rodeo is underway with more than $155,000 in Cash Prizes. There are 55 fish worth $1000 each, more than 470 worth $100 each and more than 470 worth $50 each. Then there is One Crappie Tagged worth $10,000.
