Single-Vehicle Commercial Crash Closes County Road 71 in Cleburne County
CLEBURNE COUNTY — A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle early Thursday morning has resulted in a full road closure in Cleburne County.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:34 a.m. on Feb. 26, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). The incident happened on Cleburne County Road 71 near the intersection of Cleburne County Road 482.
Authorities report that all lanes of County Road 71 are currently blocked and are expected to remain closed for an undetermined amount of time as crews work the scene.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are on site investigating the crash and monitoring the situation. Additional details have not yet been released.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the roadway is reopened. ALEA officials said updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
