In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Lacy Timmons, age 42 of Henegar, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation violation as well as for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Darrell Bates, age 44 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 2nd degree bail jumping.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 78 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
