Police Search Underway for Missing 17-Year-Old in Southside
Southside — Authorities are actively searching for a missing 17-year-old who was reported as a juvenile runaway Monday afternoon.
Officers with the Southside Police Department responded on February 23, 2026, to the 5200 block of Jake Mintz Road in reference to the incident.
Police are currently attempting to locate Andrew McLean, 17, who reportedly left the area on foot. According to authorities, he was last seen wearing the outfit shown in a video screenshot released with the department’s public notice.
Officials are urging anyone who sees McLean or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Southside Police Department immediately at 256-442-2312.
