Ms. Leatha R. Harp, age 84, of Cedar Bluff, passed away February 18, 2026 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Perry Funeral Home from 11am to 12 noon. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tyron Jelks officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Ms. Harp is survived by her daughters, Ida Harp, Ann (Douglas)Palmer, and Audrey Walker; sons, Gregory (Narda) Harp and Jeffrey Harp (Connie Geimer); grandchildren, Noell Harp, Ashley Harp, Taylor (Chad) Norsworthy, Lindsey Palmer, Audrianna (Evan) Coman, Ella Daniel Harp, Pam Butts, and Shawn (Tondra) Palmer; great-grandchildren, Olivia Harp, Mia Harp, Callum Norsworthy, and Liam Coman; chosen son, Terrence Dixon; chosen sister, Loretta Higgins;as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Royce Daniel and Almeda Clifton; husband, Hoyt Harp; brothers, Clarence Dixon, Willie Lane Daniel, and Bobby Daniel, and her sister, Alfreda Cunningham.
Ms. Harp was a faithful member of Bogan Chapel Church and was on the Cedar Bluff Town Council for 22 years, and a member of the East Alabama Planning Commission.
