In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Christina Evans, age 37 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Brian Sims, age 48 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

Michael King, age 43 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Christy Parkerson, age 47 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joseph Grimes, age 29 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 80 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
