Officer-Involved Shooting Reported While Serving Warrant in Albertville
Albertville-An officer-involved shooting occurred Monday afternoon as law enforcement attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a residence on Nixon Chapel Road in Albertville.
According to authorities, an adult male suspect was shot during the incident and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
In accordance with department policy, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation has been contacted to conduct an independent investigation.
Officials say additional details will be released as the investigation continues.
