In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Demonta Boone, age 33 of Cedartown, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Darren Terry, age 30 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation violation as well as for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 85 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
