Gadsden State Police Swear In New Department Chaplain
Gadsden-The Gadsden State Police and Public Safety Department has sworn in Brian Mintz as its newest chaplain.

Chief Freeman administered the oath, welcoming Mintz to the department’s team. Mintz also serves as Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where he works with students and student-athletes throughout the community.
Department officials said Mintz’s background in ministry and community outreach will be a valuable resource for the campus community. He and his wife, Kim, have been married for 39 years and have three adult sons, a daughter, and two grandchildren.
Gadsden State Police said Mintz’s leadership, character and commitment to service will be an asset to the college and its campuses.
