Collinsville boys clobber Donoho on basketball senior night

COLLINSVILLE – Collinsville clobbered Donoho for its senior basketball night on Monday by the final of 77-47.

Three players reached double figures for the Panthers (14-6), led by Sam Stewart’s 17 points. Sylas Adams added 16 points. Gavin Lang tossed in 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Carson Clanton also contributed a pair of treys and had eight points. Mason McAteer and Josh Toodle tallied six points apiece. Bentley Jones and Perry Stewart both finished with five points.

Ethan Crawford scored a game-high 21 points to lead Donoho. Carson Chandler and Jasper Findley both had eight points. Findley sank a pair of 3-pointers.

The two teams played a close game in the first half before the Panthers began to pull away in the third quarter. Collinsville held a 17-14 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 31-28 edge at halftime. The Panthers forged ahead 50-40 at the end of three quarters.

Collinsville travels to Valley Head on Tuesday.
