Drug Investigation Leads to Two Arrests in Piedmont

PIEDMONT, Ala.– Piedmont Police arrested two men during a drug investigation on Williams Street Wednesday.

Twenty-nine-year-old Joseph Hall and 44-year-old Jason Keener, both of Piedmont, are charged with possession of illegal narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both are being held in the Calhoun County Jail on eight-thousand-dollar bonds. A preliminary hearing is set for March 2nd at 1:30 p.m.

Police say the information is being shared for community awareness, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Anyone with information about criminal activity is asked to contact Piedmont Police at 256-447-9091.
