In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Hershel Yarbrough, age 76 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence of a combined substance.

Antonio Clements, age 37 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Nancy Daniels, age 60 of Chickamauga, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of three counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 87 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
