Councilman Tom Wall, age 70 of Cedar Bluff, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Advent Health in Rome.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Michelle Wall; children, Cindy Wall, Sean Wall, Jessica Heffner, Jamie (Erika) Wall, Courtney (Matt) Wall; grandchildren, Camille, Cohen, Towns, Jayce, Lucas, Dorothy, Aria and Ruby; sister, Debra Taylor; and brother, Carl Wall.

Tom was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was proud to serve his community on the Town Council of Cedar Bluff. His greatest joy was his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Ulysses Wall and Vernice Roberts Wall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Town of Cedar Bluff in Tom’s memory.
