Mid-Winter Gospel Singing Set for February 28 in Chattooga County
SUMMERVILLE, Ga. — A special evening of Southern gospel music and worship is planned for Saturday, February 28, as Allen Baker Ministries and Benjamin McSwan Ministries present a Mid-Winter Gospel Singing at the Chattooga County Agriculture Center.
The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will be held at the agriculture center, located at 40 Middle School Road in Summerville. Admission is free, though a love offering will be received during the program.

The gospel singing will feature performances by Allen Baker and Benjamin McSwan, along with special guest Carol McKamey Woodard, sister of Peg McKamey and the original alto singer for The McKameys, one of Southern gospel music’s most recognized groups.
Organizers describe the evening as an uplifting time of worship, fellowship, and encouragement through music, inviting the community to come together for a celebration of faith and God’s goodness through song.
In addition to the concert, Pentecostal Power Ministries will host a dinner available for purchase, including baked goods and desserts. Proceeds from the meal will benefit the ministry’s Fellowship Hall Building Fund.
For more information about the event, the public may contact Allen Baker at 706-301-8002 or Benjamin McSwan at 205-807-7307.
