Two-Vehicle Accident Reported in Centre; No Serious Injuries

Centre- A two-vehicle accident was reported Friday morning at the intersection of Armory Road and the bypass in front of Fuel City in Centre.

According to officials at the scene, a gold Chevrolet Blazer collided with a silver Ram 2500. Preliminary information indicates that the Blazer’s brakes may have failed, causing it to strike the truck. The incident remains under investigation.

No serious injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

Centre Police and Centre Fire personnel responded to the scene to assist those involved and manage traffic in the area. The roadway was impacted for a short time while emergency crews worked the scene and cleared the vehicles.
