Rainbow City Man Held on $640,000 Bond Following Child Pornography Investigation

Rainbow City-Prosecutors in Etowah County have filed additional charges against a Rainbow City man accused of possessing child pornography, bringing the total number of possession counts to 22.

According to the Rainbow City Police Department, Landon Beebe, 29, is currently being held in the Etowah County Jail on a $640,000 cash bond. A judge has also imposed strict bond conditions, including a prohibition on internet access and any contact with children under the age of 18.

Police say the investigation began after the Rainbow City Police Department and its Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a CyberTip. That initial investigation resulted in Beebe’s arrest on January 6, 2026, on five counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of dissemination of child pornography.

Following the arrest, investigators conducted a more extensive digital forensic examination. As a result of that analysis, prosecutors filed 22 additional counts of possession of child pornography.

Authorities confirmed that Beebe’s bond remains set at $640,000 cash as the case proceeds through the court system.
