In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Aja Gipson, age 34 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on hold for another agency and for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Lucas Crabtree, age 21 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a revoked bond.

Bridgett Brooks, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Courtney Sweat, age 45 of Dawson, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Christopher McGatha, age 37 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 83 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
