JACKSONVILLE, Ala.– A single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon has claimed the life of a Wellington man.

The crash happened around 5:20 p.m. on January 13th along Alabama 204 near Lloyds Road, about five miles east of Jacksonville in Calhoun County.

State Troopers say 32-year-old Sujit Ganguly was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette when the vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Ganguly was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division say the crash remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.
