Cherokee County GOP to Host January Breakfast Featuring State and Federal Candidates

Centre- The Cherokee County Republican Party will host its January GOP Breakfast on Saturday, January 24, offering local residents an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking statewide and federal office.

The event will feature two guest speakers. Jeremy Oden, a candidate for Alabama Public Service Commission Place One, will address attendees on issues impacting utilities, infrastructure, and regulatory oversight across the state. He will be followed by Congressman Barry Moore, who is currently a candidate for the United States Senate, and is expected to discuss national priorities and his campaign platform.

The breakfast will be held at Easy Street, located at 1605 West Main Street in Centre. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m., with the program scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.

Organizers say the monthly breakfast is designed to encourage civic engagement and provide a forum for voters to connect with candidates and learn more about their positions ahead of upcoming elections.

Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by Monday, January 19, by emailing cherokeegopbreakfast@gmail.com. Attendees will be responsible for the cost of their meal.

The Cherokee County GOP encourages interested community members to attend and take part in the discussion.
