CENTRE, Ala.- A one-vehicle accident occurred this afternoon on West Main Street in Centre.
A witness told police a Dodge Ram 3500 was traveling northbound near Gossett’s Metal Company around 4 p.m. when the driver suffered an apparent medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle.
The truck crossed the median and crashed into a dumpster, where it came to a stop. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Centre Police, Centre Fire, and Atrium Floyd EMS responded to the scene.
