WHITE PLAINS – Taniya Fife tallied 17 points to lead the Class 4A, No. 4 Cherokee County Lady Warriors to an 83-8 area basketball blowout at White Plains on Friday.

Thirteen of 14 Lady Warriors scored in the game.

Brooklynn Bruce added 10 points for Cherokee County (19-2). Mattie Green contributed nine points. Ellisan Givens and Nevaeh Gaidurgis both netted eight points. Ava Martin and Ella Bryant both had six points. Izzy Patterson finished with five points.
Brooksly Twelker led the Lady Wildcats with five points.

Cherokee County jumped out to a 25-0 lead in the first quarter. The Lady Warriors built a 45-1 lead at halftime.
