Rule rings for 17 in Spring Garden boys basketball victory over Gaylesville

SPRING GARDEN – Erik Rule rang for 17 points in leading the Spring Garden Panthers to a 55-24 area basketball win over visiting Gaylesville on Tuesday.

Noah Carnes came away with 13 points for the Panthers, including three 3-pointers. Zane Edwards added seven points and Joel Hunter had six points.

Hayden Dodd and Aydn Heinrich both had six points for Gaylesville. Dodd’s points came on a pair of 3-pointers. Jack Sentell finished with five points.

Spring Garden led 12-9 at the end of the first quarter and built a 28-17 edge at halftime. The Panthers led 44-22 at the end of three quarters.

Spring Garden is at Faith Christian on Thursday. Gaylesville is at Jacksonville Christian.
